In 1979, David Hockney moved to his house in the Hollywood Hills, and since then it has provided him with inspiration. In the summer of 2000, whilst staying in London, Hockney began a series of paintings of his LA garden. The distinctive blue terrace overlooking the squiggly-lined swimming pool and use of multiple perspectives to describe the space are characteristic of Hockney’s body of work, and the bright colours and lush greens echo Hollywood Hills House his work on the same subject 20 years earlier.

Beautiful David Hockney folio print using the highest quality printing method on 100% cotton rag paper, with hand-torn edges, embossed, and interleaved with acid-free tissue paper. Elegantly presented in a folio, this edition also contains a curatorial insert card with information about the artwork.
