KAWS x A Bathing Ape poster, 2003

This poster was designed by KAWS for legendary Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape back in 2003. The collaboration between KAWS and this well respected cult brand was instrumental in helping his art go global and especially in Asia. The lines of fashion, art, and culture were once again blurred, this time on an international scale with this pair helping lead the way. A legendary collaboration encapsulated in this poster with its wood grain background and monkey characters with KAWS's signature XX'd out eyes.
